Surfers Paradise

 

Dit is een webcam cache. Dit wil dus zeggen dat je een beetje hulp zal nodig hebben, of misschien ook niet.

Wat moet je doen?

Heel eenvoudig.

  1. Ga naar de coördinaten bovenaan deze pagina.
  2. Zoek een plaatsje voor de webcam waar je zeker opvalt.
  3. Breng desnoods iets opvallends mee zodat je zeker te herkennen bent.
  4. Neem contact op met een vriend/collega schattenzoeker.
  5. Laat die contactpersoon de webcamlink controleren of doe het zelf met een online smartphone of tablet.
  6. Neem een schermafbeelding van jou voor de webcam.
  7. Stuur deze naar de eigenaar van de schat via e-mail.
  8. Na controle ontvang je een logcode en kan je jouw log mét afbeelding plaatsen.

Over de cache

Surfers Paradise installeerde in 1996 de eerste beachcam langs de Belgische kust. Het beeld wordt bekeken van over de hele wereld, tot 60.000 unieke bezoekers per maand.

Surfers Paradise is gelegen te midden de duinen recht tegenover het oude zwembad op het strand aan het Zwin te Knokke-Heist. De vereniging zelf beschikt over een uniek en ruim volledig in hout opgetrokken "Californian Clubhouse" dat volledig in surfstijl opgetrokken is. In de clubruimte zelf vind je een gezellige bar, en tal van "surfstuff" van gans de wereld.

What do you have to do?

  1. Go to the given coordinates on top of this page.
  2. Try to find a nice spot in front of the webcam.
  3. Bring or do something that makes you stand out of the crowd.
  4. Contact a fellow treasurehunter.
  5. Let that person watch to the webcamlink, looking if you are there.
  6. Take a screenshot with you on it.
  7. Send the screenshot to the cache owner.
  8. After checking out your photo you will receive a logcode to log the treasure.

About the cache

Surfers Paradise installed a beach webcam as one of the first at the Belgian coast. The webcam is in place since 1996 and has a huge success with 60.000 unique viewers a month.
