Zeegat Vlissingen

Dit is een webcam cache. Dit wil dus zeggen dat je een beetje hulp zal nodig hebben, of misschien ook niet.

Wat moet je doen?

Heel eenvoudig.

Ga naar de coördinaten bovenaan deze pagina.
Zoek een plaatsje voor de webcam waar je zeker opvalt.
Breng desnoods iets opvallends mee zodat je zeker te herkennen bent.
Neem contact op met een vriend/collega schattenzoeker.
Laat die contactpersoon de webcamlink controleren of doe het zelf met een online smartphone of tablet.
Neem een schermafbeelding van jou voor de webcam.
Stuur deze naar de eigenaar van de schat.
Na controle ontvang je een logcode en kan je jouw log mét afbeelding plaatsen.

Over de cache

De camera kijkt in westelijke richting en toont onafgebroken beelden van de monding en noordelijke vaargeul van de Westerschelde. Per dag passeren gemiddeld 150 schepen, op weg naar of afkomstig van de havens van Antwerpen, Gent, Terneuzen en Vlissingen-Oost. De camera hangt bij hoog water op 25 meter van zee. Zeegat Vlissingen is onafhankelijk en trekt dagelijks ca. 5000 bezoekers.

This is a webcam cache. That means you will have to ask some help of a friend. Or you can do it with the help of an online smartphone or tablet.

What do you have to do?

Go to the given coordinates on top of this page.
Try to find a nice spot in front of the webcam.
Bring or do something that makes you stand out of the crowd.
Contact a fellow treasurehunter.
Let that person watch to the webcamlink, looking if you are there.
Take a screenshot with you on it.
Send the screenshot to the cache owner.
After checking out your photo you will receive a logcode to log the treasure.

About the cache

The webcam offers live images of the Scheldt estuary. Some 150 vessels pass this point daily to and from the ports of Antwerp and Ghent (Belgium) and Terneuzen and Flushing (The Netherlands).
